Game Updates

TikTok officially launched the Shared Collectionbin feature, which provides users with a centralized space to share and organize the Platform’s content with their relatives and friends. TikTok also announced that it would go online within months for a “shared referral stream” that would allow users to view the Platform’s content together through a referral stream based on shared interest.

TikTok introduced the personal folder earlier this year to allow users to save content to custom folders. By sharing collections, users can now create shared space for specific topics. In its bulletin, TikTok states: “TikTok has for many years supported users in preserving content through collection functions, such as #BookTok Booksheets, Cardio commodities. In order to make this function more practical, we have officially launched the `Shared Collections ‘ to enable users to share and organize TikTok content in a unified space with friends and relatives. The sharing of collections can help users to be more coherent in finding and preserving content, whether it is an inspiration for creators, for furniture design or for learning new skills together.”

“The creation of shared collections requires mutual attention. When a user saves a video or enters a collection folder, you can choose to create a shared collection with your relatives and friends. After accepting the invitation, you can change the name of the collection and start saving the content of your favorite TikTok. The collection can be set to be accessible only to relatives and friends, or open to the TikTok community for other users to find out what’s good. The function is open to global accounts older than 16 years of age.” With regard to the forthcoming roll-out of the shared referral stream, TikTok is seen as an innovative way for users to jointly discover content. Users can generate a shared referral stream through a private one-to-one, and the system will recommend customized content based on the interests and interests of the creators. The recommended stream is generated on the basis of the user ‘ s hymn, viewing, comment, etc. on the platform, and it is worth noting that the recommended stream is not carried out consecutively and that the user will find 15 selected videos on a daily basis in the shared referral stream.

This function is similar to the “Blend” function of Instagram Reels, which creates a personalized short video stream for users and friends. TikTok states: “When a shared referral stream is used, one party may send an invitation to open the shared referral stream. Upon acceptance, the system will create an exclusive referral stream and generate 15 videos daily for discussion by both parties. Participants can comment on videos and applaud them. When both sides have finished watching all the videos, they will be able to view the relevant data, including those from both sides. Invitations may be refused and participants may exit the shared referral stream at any time. TikTok also announced that it would launch the holiday card function. Users can select greeting cards, write blessing messages and send them in chat interfaces, and recipients will see the blessing messages synchronized with holiday animations.
